Happy July, everyone!
It's been a heck of a summer so far and I don't know about you, but I need a glass of bubbly, stat! 

First off, apologies for the delay in getting this update to you. We have been trying to get a read on things with the factory, which is still impacted by rolling closures due to COVID in China. Now we have some details and photos to share so let's dive in.  

Production Update!

First things first. Our factory partners are doing well, despite the spread of COVID and the shutdowns. While we really want to get the games to you, we do want to recognize and respect the health and safety of everyone. It stinks that things are delayed but we are ecstatic to now share that the games and deluxe components are DONE and looking fantastic! Let's have a look... 

Waiting on a boat - New Anticipated Schedule 

I will be the first to admit my last update probably jinxed me and that not everyone has barrels they can knock on for luck. Lesson learned ;) 

While we aren't super delayed, we are in fact delayed a bit more than we were expecting the last time we did an update. What was about a ~20-day impact has clearly extended and further delayed our schedule. We still consider ourselves lucky as we have seen others impacted much more than we have been over the last couple of months. 

Here is the adjusted schedule as a result:

• Leaving Port: July 15th
• Arriving at various fulfillment centers: Late July/August
• Fulfillment begins in Asia & Australia first as the product is the closest to you all and we expect this to happen in late July/early August. The Rest of the world will begin as soon as it is received in our warehouse for the retail edition backers first and all other orders shortly after that.

Production Under Way! BackerKit "Soft-Closes" & Bills Tomorrow

Bonjour, Maison Managers!

We are back with some important updates for you.

BackerKit Next Steps!

The date we originally noted for charging cards has passed. Why? We had a few rewards not quite right and needed to fix those first before moving forward. So, now that we are all good, we will be charging cards tomorrow.

BackerKit will bill and lockdown pledges for all completed surveys tomorrow. Tonight, and early tomorrow, you should still be able to access and change them, using your original survey link.

If you haven't filled out your survey yet, don't panic! We encourage you to get it done as quickly as you can, but this delay will not endanger or delay your pledge unless you leave it until closer to the fulfillment date.

If you need to make changes after your pledge is locked (such as add-ons, or a new shipping address), this is also still fine. Please DM us or email us with the details and we will be glad to help.

Production Update!

Despite our factory having to shut down TWICE for COVID since we spoke last, we are very happy to say we are not super delayed. Overall, we have been impacted to what amounts to ~20 days against our schedule. We are very lucky so everyone knock on some wood barrels please ASAP!

Backer Surveys Coming... FINALLY! But first, a smoke test!

Hey, you are all so amazing and patient. THANK YOU!

We had a little trial and error while determining our pledge manager system. But we are in good shape now! 

Cool. What hapens next?

A small percentage of backers will be sent surveys first as an initial "smoke test" of the system. Barring any issues, the remainder will be sent soon thereafter. After you've all had the chance to confirm your pledge levels, addresses, and add-ons, we'll open the Preorder store for those who missed the campaign.

When Does This Need To Be Filled Out By?

The closing date isn't locked down yet, but you will have a few weeks to fill it out. We are anticipating end of April and we will announce the exact date well in advance in a future update.

What If I Have Trouble Filling Out My Survey?

If you have technical difficulties, the instructions are not clear, or you can't find the specific combination of pledge items you would like, please message [email protected] with the specifics of what you need and we'll be happy to follow up with you.

Bonjour, Maison Managers!

It would have been so nice to just celebrate the campaign’s success by sitting back and relaxing, with some friends, some games, and a glass of the bubbly… but our industry doesn’t always allow this (especially this time of year). Between day-to-day operations and all the exciting things we’re working on for the future, it feels like the R&R team has been doing nothing but eat, sleep, and breathe board games!

(The good news is, of course, we like that.)

So the pledge manager is still coming! It’s not ready to send yet, but we wanted to take a quick moment to raise our glass to you, our lovely backers, and let you know it’s still in progress. We’ll be sending out another update soon when we have more specific information to report.

Merci Beaucoup, Backers!

Thank you to all of you for making Dom Pierre a success! Our work isn’t over yet! Now we finalize the extras with the factory and work on getting the pledge manager ready.

So, what happens next?

·  The pledge manager will be open approximately 2-3 weeks after the end of the campaign. So around mid-February.

·  Kickstarter should have charged your credit card. Unfortunately, R&R Games is not involved in this process, so we won’t be able to help you with issues with payment. If your card hasn’t been charged, please contact Kickstarter support to get that resolved.

·  You will be able to upgrade or add to your pledge in the pledge manager once you get your access link. 

·  For our retail friends, we will be sending you a separate pledge manager, and your final payments will be due at that time. 

·  We will continue to update you, our great maison managers, with news as we work to get Dom Pierre to your table.
